The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) for Patients with Lymphedema

Abstract
To understand the characteristics of lymphedema not as mere symptom, but as functional. Disorder, ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health) may be useful tool for setting rehabilitation strategies. We reviewed the previous studies which used the ICF model for patients with lymphedema. First, Question such as lymphedema functioning, disability and health questionnaire (Lymph-ICF) were developed. There has been consensus of development of international classification of functioning, disability and health (ICF) core sets for lymphedema. The ICF provides a valuable reference to identify concepts in questionnaires focusing on individuals with lymphedema.
